The
first service of Christ Community Reformed Church led by
Rev. Robert J. DeYoung, was held on Sunday, April 4,
1965 at 10:00am in the town hall of Halfmoon in the
Village of Clifton Park, New York. The first service in
our present building was Easter Sunday of 1967; the
building was dedicated the afternoon of that Sunday,
with subsequent additions in 1975, and 1991. After 36
years of service to Christ Community Reformed Church
Rev. DeYoung retired and we welcomed our present
minister Rev. Dr. Johan G. Bosman on March 1, 2004. We
look forward with hope to the continuation of our
commitment to the future of this church of Jesus Christ
and to the covenant established by our founding members.
We have long been an open and ecumenical congregation,
with members coming from a wide variety of church
backgrounds to find a warm and accepting Christian
fellowship.
