We are on a journey of faith seeking
understanding.
Adult Study
Adult Study Groups meets Sundays following the worship service
for coffee and guest speakers, Bible study, or dialogue.
Attendees choose the topics of interest and often share in
leadership with the guidance of a theologically trained elder or
the minister. Each series lasts for several weeks resulting in a
variety of interesting and relevant discussions throughout the
church year. All are welcome to listen or participate at their
own comfort level. Occasionally, the minister conducts dialogue
sessions in response to sermons or to inform the congregation on
church matters, concerns, and to respond to questions.
Kerygma Bible Study
This group also meets on Sundays for Bible study and scripture
based discussion. This is an opportunity to learn more about the
Bible, study Biblical themes, and discuss theological questions.
Classes are led by lay leaders with guidance from the ministers,
or a preaching elder.
Thursday Morning Study Group
This group meets once a month on a Thursday (from 10:00 am to
11:30 am) for study and fellowship. Discussions focus on books
or study series with religious or spiritual significance. There
is ample time for sharing, group support, and prayer. Details
can be found in the Sunday bulletin.
Special Studies
Additional educational series are offered in a 5 – 6 week
format. Past titles have included “The Theology of Paul” and
“Theology 101”.
