Christ Community Reformed Church presents these Lenten offerings for this Easter season:

Palm/Passion Sunday
Sunday, March 16 at 7:30am and 10:00am
Holy week begins in celebration with the distribution of palms to commemorate the triumphant entry of Jesus into the city. The Bell Choir calls us to worship with the procession of the bells.  

As the service continues, it takes on a somber mood to prepare us for the Passion of Christ.  

Maundy Thursday Service
Thursday, March 20 at 7:30pm
As Holy Week moves from Palm/Passion Sunday through the events of this week, we come to Maundy Thursday.  It is the day of the new mandate (Maundy) or commandment that you love one another as I have loved you.  It is also the Passover Supper at which Jesus takes bread and wine from that feast and identifies them with himself.

This evening service is held in the sanctuary and is a modified Tenebrae service, (the historic monastic service that narrates the passion and the seven last words), at which the readings of Jesus' crucifixion occur in phases.  The final reading is read in the darkened sanctuary and all depart in silent contemplation. Communion will be served at both services.

Good Friday Service
Friday, March 21 at 12 noon and 7:30pm
This is a quiet, meditative service with the reading of John's gospel of the crucifixion. The sermon focuses on Jesus' words from the Cross "Into Your Hands."  From 9:00am until the 7:30pm service, the sanctuary is open for silent meditation.  On this day, the sanctuary is adorned with the symbols of Good Friday.

Easter Sunday Services
Sunday, March 22 at 9:00am and 11:00am

Begin this joyous Easter morn with us at a morning breakfast held before the 9:00am service.  Then celebrate with us at the 9:00am family choral service with bells ringing and choirs singing! 

Our 11:00am service is a family choral service that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus with readings, sermon, vocal and bell choirs, trumpets, and cymbals.  Christ has risen!  HE HAS RISEN INDEED!
